During the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown our chapel has been closed.
However we hope to be able to reopen the Chapel from Sunday 4th April 2021 (TBC).
When there are further lockdowns, opening restrictions or safety guidance, we will adhere to those.
We have implemented the following measures, as per COVID-19 safety guidance:
-
Singing is unfortunately not permitted (unless we hold the service outdoors, weather allowing).
-
The collective administration of Communion is not permitted. We invite people to bring their own small glass of red wine (or equivalent) and cube of bread when we hold this monthly service.
-
People are required to adhere to the 2m social distancing when entering/moving around/exiting. Please ensure that you and your family keep to the 2m social distance rules.
-
Those who are part of a “bubble” will be allowed to sit together.
-
Please do not attend if you have had Covid-19 symptoms within the previous 14 days, or been in contact with anyone who has.
-
There will be signs reminding to keep social distance, and to maintain hand-hygiene by using the hand sanitiser provided. There will also be a one-way system, and most doors will be wedged open to reduce the surfaces touched.
-
Hand gel will be available when entering and exiting, and you are welcome to wear a mask if you would like to, but it is not a requirement.
-
Please bring your own Bible if you wish, as the Chapel copies will not be available for use at the moment.
-
No offering will be taken. Those who would like to give in this way will be able to do so via a box available at the back of the Chapel.
We hope that you can join us.
