Sunday Mornings
Services are from 10.00 to 11.00am.
They comprise hymn singing, readings, a story for the children, and articles or topics to share with one another that we feel we can learn from or are thought provoking.
Service dates and types are listed opposite. Click on the < > or o buttons to scroll through the pages of information.
On the first Sunday of each month, we also include Communion in our service.
COVID-19
-
When our services at the Chapel were impacted by the pandemic, we monitored and adhered to any lockdown or safety guidance that applied.
-
We maintained social distancing, when the weather has permitted we held our services outside.
-
When unable to meet face to face, we shared readings, articles, songs and prayers by email.
Children
Children of all ages are very welcome to attend all our services.
We also hold four family services each year, specifically aimed at involving children in a fun and engaging way.
When they are sufficient numbers, we have also held Sunday School and JAM (Jesus and Me).
Family Services
Four times a year, from 10.30 to 11.30am on a Sunday, we hold services where we aim to appeal to and bring together all ages.
Each family service has a theme, which we hope is interesting and fun for the children, and also sparks food for thought for the adults. They often include music, drawing, puppets and short plays - all written and performed by members of our congregation.
Unfortunately during COVID-19, we were unable to hold our family services. However our congregation produced videos to share on our website and on YouTube instead. Please visit our gallery to see those.
Special Services
At certain times of the year we hold services to celebrate particular occasions, for example Easter, Harvest, Carols and Christmas.
Please see our services section above for dates.
Fellowship
Sometimes we meet on a weekday evening, for an informal relaxed gathering in one of our homes. We explore the bible and topics together over tea/coffee, and provide one another with any support and encouragement that we may need.
