Sunday Mornings

Unfortunately we are not currently able to hold services, due to the coronavirus pandemic.  We hope to be able to resume some services from Easter onwards, but please telephone ahead to check/confirm if a service is able to take place.

We are doing some online activities and keeping in touch by telephone and email too.

Please contact us for any further information.

We will resume regular services as soon as we can and when it is safe to do so.

Services are from 10.30 to 11.30am.

They comprise hymn singing, readings, a story for the children, and articles or topics to share with one another that we feel we can learn from or are thought provoking.

Service dates and types are listed opposite.  Click on the < > or o buttons to scroll through the months.

On the first Sunday of each month, we also include Communion in our service.

  • Our services at the Chapel are impacted by the pandemic, so may not be able to take place on the dates planned.

  • We monitor and adhere to any lockdown or safety guidance that applies.

  • Maintaining social distancing, when the weather has permitted we have held our services outside, and when cold or wet we have had restricted services inside.

  • When unable to meet face to face, we have shared readings, articles, songs and prayers by email.

Children of all ages are very welcome to attend all our services.

We also hold four family services each year, specifically aimed at involving children in a fun and engaging way.

When they are sufficient numbers, we have also held Sunday School and JAM (Jesus and Me).

Family Services

Four times a year, from 10.30 to 11.30am on a Sunday, we hold services where we aim to appeal to and bring together all ages.

Each family service has a theme, which we hope is interesting and fun for the children, and also sparks food for thought for the adults.  They often include music, drawing, puppets and short plays - all written and performed by members of our congregation.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we have been unable to hold our family services this year, so we will publish dates here for 2021 as soon as we know it will be safe to resume them.

In the meantime, our congregation has produced two of them as videos instead.

Special Services

At certain times of the year we hold services to celebrate particular occasions, for example Easter, Harvest, Carols and Christmas.

Our next services (pandemic allowing) will be:

  • Carols on Sunday 13th December - 10.30 to 11.30 am

  • Christmas Morning - 9.30 to 10am

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we have been unable to hold some of our special services this year, so we will publish dates here for 2021 as soon as we know it will be safe to resume them.

Sometimes we meet on a weekday evening, for an informal relaxed gathering in one of our homes.  We explore the bible and topics together over tea/coffee, and provide one another with any support and encouragement that we may need.
